Controlling and Process Improvement Internship

Daimler AG, Germany

An internship completed during my Master’s degree, this position began as a reporting role, conducting operational and strategic analyses to prepare management information reports. Able to make immediate impact, I took on further responsibility for process improvement, looking at systems and processes to deliver cost, time, and efficiency improvements. Requiring exceptional consulting and project management capabilities, I led end-to-end projects, interviewing and consulting with stakeholders from across the organisation, coordinating with IT and Logistics to lead solutions and implementations, and facilitating system user workshops to ensure smooth adoption and use.
  • Made measurable contributions to reporting efficiency, reducing reporting from 3 days to 1 hour with an Excel VBA programming solution;

  • Led system improvements to the procurement system, managing the end-to-end project to deliver accuracy, time and cost improvements.
